One body of work, two sides. The link at the foot of the page opens the side the page is showing; the switch under it turns the page over to the other side.

In the middle of the page is the 1974 Arecibo message, drawn cell by cell: the numbers one to ten in binary, the atomic numbers of hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and phosphorus, the sugar and base formulas of DNA, the number of nucleotides in the human genome, the double helix, a human figure, the population of Earth, the height of a human in wavelengths, the Solar System with Earth raised toward the figure, the Arecibo telescope, and the diameter of its dish. A wave of light travels down it in shades of grey on the Storyteller side, and up it in the picture's own six colours on the Developer side; it runs for a few seconds after any movement on the page, then settles and holds still.
